The golden age of cable television introduced dozens of unique networks, each with its own flavor of entertainment. As streaming rose and ratings dropped, many quietly vanished without fanfare. These 10 TV networks were once part of daily life — until they disappeared from the dial for good.
1. G4
The Pop Culture Geek Network on Flickr
Focused on video games and geek culture, G4 had a loyal cult following in the early 2000s. After multiple shutdowns and a short-lived revival in 2021, it was finally pulled again in 2022.
2. Court TV (Original Version)

Before it became “truTV,” Court TV aired real courtroom dramas and legal analysis. It was replaced in 2008 with reality programming, moving away from trials and into general entertainment.
3. The N
