1. “Weird Weather” – BBC News (2014)

The footage went viral within minutes, with everyone enjoying the ridiculousness of the way she tried to keep her cool as her hair came out at full cable length. 2. “Snowstorm Snow Joke” – WGN-TV (2013)

This blooper, in which the camera angle was deceptive, became a meme for when you attempt to play like you’re in a perilous situation but you’re obviously safe.

9. “It’s so hot, you can fry an egg on the sidewalk!” – Fox News (2018)

Fox News’ on-the-ground weather report stated it was so hot in Arizona that “you could fry an egg on the sidewalk.” The absurdity of the statement made it an immediate meme, with individuals posting images of fried eggs on sidewalks as humorous “evidence” of the prediction. It has become the epitome of over-the-top heatwave reports.

10. “And we’re live!” – BBC News (2017)

During a live broadcast, a BBC meteorologist was interrupted by a seagull flying into the studio window, startling him and causing a brief moment of confusion.
