These men and women entertained, educated, and delighted kids with silly antics and genuine charm. Though many have faded from memory, their legacy still echoes in the hearts of those who watched.

1. Captain 20 – Washington, D.C. (WDCA-TV)

With his space-themed outfit and futuristic set, Captain 20 was a childhood icon in the DMV area. He introduced cartoons with a mix of sci-fi flair and friendly banter.

2. Major Mudd – Boston (WHDH-TV)
