Across the globe, beautiful hotels have been deserted due to wars, natural disasters, or economic decline. However, some remain almost untouched, their rooms and halls frozen in their final moments of activity. These abandoned hotels serve as eerie reminders of changing times and lost luxury.
1. Ryugyong Hotel, North Korea

Located in Pyongyang, the Ryugyong Hotel is a massive pyramid-shaped skyscraper. Construction began in 1987 but was halted for decades due to financial problems. Although the exterior is complete, the inside remains mostly unfinished and empty. It towers over the city as a silent monument to ambition and delay.
