1. 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Convertible

One of the most valuable and sought-after muscle cars of all time, the 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Convertible is the Mopar holy grail. With just 12 units ever produced and sporting the iconic 426 Hemi V8, this vehicle would likely sell for well over $3,000,000 today. Its intimidating appearance and nasty acceleration make it a showstopper in any serious collector’s garage.
2. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Chevrolet only produced 69 units of the ZL1 Camaro, each with an all-aluminum 427 cubic-inch big-block engine engineered for the drag strip. 5. 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

Similar to the Superbird, the Charger Daytona was a NASCAR battle-axe specifically designed with a huge rear wing. Only 503 units were produced, and those with the 426 Hemi are particularly rare, selling for $900,000 or more. 6. 1971 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T

The Hemi Challenger R/T was Mopar muscle in its finest form, with aggressive looks and the brutal 426 Hemi. A total of 71 hardtops and 12 convertibles were ever produced, making them very rare. 7. 1965 Shelby GT350R

Carroll Shelby’s track-focused GT350R was a race-ready Mustang that dominated SCCA circuits. Only 36 units were built, and they are now among the most sought-after Mustangs ever, often selling for over $1,000,000. The lightweight body, stiff suspension, and high-revving 289 V8 made it a true competitor’s dream.

The L88 Corvette was constructed solely for competition, sporting a 427 big-block that generated more than its claimed 430 horsepower. Chevy produced only 20 units in 1967, now selling for over $3,000,000. Minus the extra frills, such as a heater and radio, the L88 was business-only.
10. 1969 Ford Boss 429 Mustang

Intended to homologate Ford’s huge 429 cubic-inch engine for NASCAR, the Boss 429 was the most distinctive Mustang ever produced. With production limited to just 859 units, these vehicles now sell for more than $500,000. It featured a specially modified engine compartment to accommodate the big block, making it a rare and powerful Mustang.
11. 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible

Pontiac’s most out-of-control GTO, the Judge, was made available only as a convertible in very small quantities in 1971. Of only 17 units produced, these elusive animals bring well over $500,000 at auction. Equipped with the Ram Air IV 455 engine, it was the high-water mark of Pontiac performance.
12. 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

13. 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible

Oldsmobile’s 442 W-30 was fitted with a 455 cubic-inch V8 delivering 500 lb-ft of torque and was among the most powerful muscle cars at that time. There were only 96 convertibles made in 1970; thus, they are very rare and highly sought after. One in pristine condition can command well over $250,000.
14. 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Z16

Chevy only made 200 units of Z16s, making the car one of the most scarce Chevelles out there. With a 396 big-block V8 and luxurious features, it was fast and good-looking. These extremely rare muscle cars now sell for more than $250,000 to collectors.

16. 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Boss 302

19. 1970 AMC Rebel Machine
