If you thought navigating three-wide traffic at Talladega was stressful, try sitting down in front of a live microphone to discuss your marriage. For NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., the ultimate test of endurance isn’t happening on a race track this year. It’s happening in a podcast studio with his wife, Amy.
In February last year, the Earnhardt household officially opened its doors to the public. Dirty Mo Media, the heavyweight podcasting network Dale Jr. built from the ground up, introduced itself to the YouTube world with the debut episode of Bless Your ’Hardt.
It has been a weekly, unscripted, and entirely unfiltered look into the lives of Dale and Amy as they navigate the beautiful chaos of marriage, parenting, and everyday life.
Recently, a new clip has surfaced about the couple on the podcast. And it had nothing to do with Dale’s racing capabilities.
1. The Grape Incident That Broke the Internet
You know you have undeniable chemistry when you can make eating fruit go viral. Earlier this month, Dirty Mo Media dropped a teaser clip on X (formerly Twitter) that perfectly encapsulated what this show is about. It had absolutely nothing to do with horsepower, aerodynamics, or tire wear. It was about Dale Jr. eating a snack. “He eats with like, extreme force,” Amy pointed out, visibly exasperated in the way only a spouse of several years can be. “He feels like he’s gonna turn the grapes into wine or something in his mouth. Like he’s smashing it so hard.”
2. Why Amy is the Co-Host We Didn’t Know We Needed

For over a decade, Dale Jr. has been the undisputed king of NASCAR media. His flagship show, the Dale Jr. Download, is basically mandatory listening for anyone who cares about stock car racing. But every so often, Amy would drop by the studio to join the broadcast. Whenever she did, the dynamic shifted in the best way possible. Fans didn’t just get the racing legend; they got the husband, the dad, and the guy who apparently eats grapes as they owe him money. The response to those spot appearances was overwhelmingly positive, essentially forcing Dirty Mo Media to give the couple their own dedicated platform. As Amy put it during the opening of their platform, “We’re really excited to invite everyone into the crazy, beautiful, and sometimes messy world we live in. Bless Your ’Hardt is going to be a fun way to share stories and antics about juggling life, marriage, and parenting.” She brings a completely different energy to the network—a grounded, sharp-witted perspective that effortlessly checks her husband’s superstar status at the door.
3. Dirty Mo Media Expands the Playbook
From a sports media perspective, this is a brilliant audible by Dirty Mo Media and the SiriusXM Podcast Network. The network has already cornered the motorsports market. With heavy hitters like the Dale Jr. Download (entering its 13th season on February 4), Door Bumper Clear, and Denny Hamlin’s Actions Detrimental, they own the racing conversation. But Bless Your ’Hardt is a deliberate pivot into the lifestyle space. It proves that the Earnhardt brand is big enough to transcend the sport itself. You don’t need to know the difference between loose and tight race cars to find it hilarious when a husband and wife bicker over loud chewing. It’s universal storytelling. When the first episode dropped in February last year, there were a lot of laughs, self-deprecation, and a genuine look at two people figuring it out as they go. “This podcast is going to be a lot of fun,” Dale Jr. said. “The past year, we enjoyed doing a few podcasts together, and the response was tremendous. I expect a lot of laughs.” If the grape-eating incident is one of the appetizers one year into the platform, the main course will be must-listen material. Dale Earnhardt Jr. spent his entire career mastering the art of the perfect pass, but as he’s about to find out on a weekly basis, nothing keeps you on your toes quite like a microphone and a spouse who knows all your habits. Let’s just hope they keep the studio stocked with quieter snacks.
