ESPN analyst Bill Barnwell recently explained why he believes Brown’s skill set may actually fit better with Maye than it did with his former quarterback, Jalen Hurts, in Philadelphia. According to Barnwell, the Patriots’ offensive tendencies align closely with the routes that helped Brown become one of the league’s most productive receivers earlier in his career.
If that projection proves accurate, New England could have one of the NFL’s most dangerous quarterback-receiver combinations heading into the new season.
