His ability to stretch the floor has created additional space for the Thunder’s primary scorers. Wallace’s impact was equally important even if it did not fully appear in the box score. His perimeter defense disrupted San Antonio’s rhythm and contributed to the Thunder’s transition opportunities. Oklahoma City’s depth continues to wear opponents down, and the bench once again proved to be a major advantage.

One of the most encouraging developments for Oklahoma City was the performance of Chet Holmgren. The young big man established himself early offensively and looked more assertive than he had in previous games of the series.
