The Orlando Magic delivered one of their most thrilling wins of the season Thursday night, edging the Dallas Mavericks 115–114 in a dramatic finish that unfolded in the final seconds.

With time winding down and the Mavericks clinging to a one-point lead, Orlando opted not to call a timeout after a key defensive stop. Instead, the Magic trusted their players to attack quickly before Dallas could set up its defense.

That decision proved decisive. Guard Jalen Suggs pushed the pace in transition and initiated a two-man action with center Wendell Carter Jr., creating the opening that would ultimately decide the game.
